This Section 20 external refurbishment included:
- External:
- Scaffolding and insured scaffolding alarm to all elevations
- Masonry repairs
- Repair and replacement to joinery to both windows and doors including new draft proofing works to sash windows
- Guaranteed Bauder felt system for communal flat roofs
- Full pitch roof replacement including slates, insulation, felt, battens and lead flashings
- General repairs and redecoration of elevations where each building was painted in new colour scheme agreed with the local council.
- New landscaping design including permeable paving, raised planting beds with new plants, flexipave as per council guidelines for water runoff and protection of existing tree roots.
- Upgraded external lighting for flower beds and elevations.
- Internal:
- Installation of new fire alarm systems
- Installation of new intercom systems
- Repairs and Redecorations throughout
- Supply and installation of new carpets
- Electrical upgrade works including installation of new landlord fuse boards, communal lighting and emergency lighting
- Fire upgrade works to electrical cupboards
