Vesta are able to assist clients in the initial consultation and design phases of their projects in the following manner:
We understand that clients require budget costs in order to get proposals agreed and projects into the design phase. Every project is different and we appreciate that sometimes it is difficult for Designers to provide accurate budget costs, particularly where there are unique works or fluctuating supplier markets. Since Vesta have a strong working relationship with all our suppliers, and since we have many years of experiencing unique works on site, we feel we are suitably positioned to help in providing more accurate costs for such works. We are happy to attend site and provide such advice as a free service in order to keep our professional relationships with our clients as strong as ever. It has become clear over the years that this advice becomes particularly useful in negotiating dilapidations claims whether acting for Landlord or Tenant.
Require some fabric opened up for further inspection? We are happy to attend site and carry out reasonable opening up and clearing away works as a free service to our regular clients.
Some projects are simply impossible to design in full prior to tender, it is difficult to specify some works when it is uncertain exactly what is required to meet the client’s requirements. In this situation, designers sometimes have no choice but to expose their client to cost risk, allowing provisional sums or allowances to be re-measured at the end of the project. Our services include free initial buildability advice using our years of experience on site. This can help to minimise the client’s cost risk as we will provide ideas and solutions on how to best achieve their requirements. Should we be appointed on a project where we have provided such initial advice, we will stand by our costs to protect you and your client from unanticipated expenditure.
