Project Description
The refurbishment of Greville Hall focuses on upgrading the communal areas, with a strong emphasis on fire safety and health and safety improvements. The project also incorporates electrical upgrades, joinery improvements, enhanced access control to create a safe, comfortable, and visually appealing environment for all residents.
Internal
- Complete replacement of all flat doors frames/lining, common part electrical cupboards, common part riser cupboard doors and frames. with FD30 ire-rated doors/cupboards, including integrated, hinges, door closers, spy holes. letterboxes and new numbering throughout.
- Installation of a new smoke heads to all common parts.
- Upgrade of communal lighting circuits to LED fixtures for energy efficiency and improved illumination. Replacement of all common part fuse boards to meet current regulations.
- Installation of new coir matting at entrances, stone step treatment, installation of non-slip nosing’s to enhance safety and aesthetics.
- Installation of new suspended staircase ceilings.
- All redundant cables removed and remaining cables to be chased in a buried.
- Full internal redecoration of all communal areas
